About the position

The Supply Chain Analyst II at Andersen Corporation plays a crucial role in optimizing supply chain processes and enhancing operational efficiency. This position involves utilizing various methodologies such as DMAIC, PDCA, lean, and six sigma to identify problems and analyze solutions within the supply chain. The analyst will collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure effective planning and execution of supply chain projects, ultimately contributing to improved service levels, cost reduction, and increased inventory turnover.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in supply chain projects within the value stream considering the entire supply chain (plan, source, make, deliver).
  • Provide a high degree of planning analysis to support decision making.
  • Optimize supply planning parameters to align with business requirements for service and inventory.
  • Identify supply chain problem areas and drive improvements in service, cost reduction, and inventory turns.
  • Utilize supply chain and lean tools such as Kanban, 5Y, Plan-Do-Check Act, value stream mapping, and A3 thinking.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners including suppliers, supervisors, logistics/warehouse groups, and material planners.
  • Facilitate functional teams and meetings.
  • Provide daily work direction to others in the value stream (planners and other project participants).
  • Work independently with general supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Information Systems.
  • Working knowledge of relevant supply chain technologies such as ERP and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Experience with multiple systems including ERP, BCPS, Power BI, BOBJ, Visual Basics for Applications, and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP systems, data mining, and data reporting.
  • Strong understanding of inventory, production planning, and capacity.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3-5 years of Supply Chain experience.
  • Proficient in utilizing lean tools and methodology for problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in production planning and operations environment.
  • Experience with demand forecasting.
