About the position

The Supply Chain Analyst III at NES Fircroft is responsible for overseeing a variety of contracts from strategy development through execution and administration. This role involves leading sourcing and contracting efforts, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that contract services are implemented efficiently and in compliance with company policies. The position requires strong analytical and negotiation skills to manage supplier performance and contract management effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project specific sourcing and contracting efforts to develop contracting strategies for execution.
  • Perform contracting activities including reviewing, proposing revisions, and implementing agreements using standard documents/forms and contracting procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with BU Partners, Stakeholders, Supply Chain Staff, Quality, HSE, Legal, and other relevant internal resources.
  • Author contracts utilizing company contract tools and manage language changes through functional review and approval processes.
  • Analyze suitability of potential Contractors in accordance with company and project-specific qualification criteria.
  • Gather market and Contractor information through market intelligence.
  • Implement contract services in a timely and cost-efficient manner within established company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Build and execute negotiation strategies that ensure all project objectives are accomplished.
  • Coordinate formal RFX for project contracts and perform pre-bid and pre-award meetings.
  • Analyze bids based on time constraints, cost, and quality assurance; prepare bid evaluations and seek appropriate approvals for awards.
  • Support ongoing Supplier Performance Management and handle change management and resolution of claims or issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of supply chain contracting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field or foreign equivalent.
  • Advanced level functional background or working knowledge of company procurement systems (SAP and SMART by GEP).
  • Intermediate level understanding of project management fundamentals.
  • Intermediate level knowledge and understanding of commercial terms and conditions.
  • Intermediate level contract drafting skills.
  • Intermediate level negotiation skills and ability to effectively apply analytical tools, concepts, and methods.
  • Ability to manage a large number of contracts in various stages of development.
