About the position

As a Supply Chain Analyst Senior at GDIT, you will play a crucial role in managing supply chain and logistics functions, focusing on material procurement, vendor selection, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This position emphasizes cloud-based and SaaS procurements, ensuring high internal customer satisfaction while implementing process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Perform supply chain and logistics functions including material procurement and vendor selection.
• Manage the procurement process for both indirect and direct procurements, focusing on cloud-based and SaaS procurements.
• Execute sourcing in compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
• Manage RFQ/RFP processes from drafting to execution, including bidder communication and negotiation.
• Complete sourcing documentation in accordance with compliance standards.
• Negotiate agreements with a focus on risk mitigation and value-add.
• Ensure high internal customer satisfaction.
• Support the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or additional 4+ years of equivalent work experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.
• 5+ years in government contracts and/or strategic procurement.
• 2+ years' experience managing and executing services agreements.
• Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company.
• Ability to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data.
• Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local statutes, laws, rules, and regulations related to governmental purchasing programs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Cloud/SaaS agreements.
• Proven track record of gaining efficiencies through process improvement and automation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Workday, Sharepoint and Fuse applications.
