About the position

As a Supply Chain Analyst at Solventum, you will play a crucial role in enhancing supply chain processes to meet customer needs and improve operational efficiency. This position involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement supply chain solutions, analyze performance metrics, and lead projects that drive measurable business results. Your expertise will be essential in establishing effective inventory management and optimizing material flow, ultimately contributing to the company's mission of delivering innovative healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Define customer requirements and identify problem areas, service failures, and improvement opportunities.
  • Design supply chain solutions including inventory management, material flow, capacity analysis, and IT systems.
  • Develop plans to implement supply chain solutions that achieve measurable business results.
  • Assemble and lead project teams to implement supply chain solutions and report progress to plant management.
  • Establish close working relationships with business unit management and recommend supply chain activities.
  • Become the resident expert in existing and new planning tools and make recommendations for their application.
  • Support new planning tool implementations in the plant.
  • Establish measurement and tracking systems to monitor and report supply chain performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Production Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Five years of experience in manufacturing supply chain in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • High School Diploma/GED with nine years of experience in manufacturing supply chain if no degree is held.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform data analysis on large datasets.
  • Experience leading cross-functional project teams implementing supply chain solutions.
  • Strong ERP background using SAP or similar systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in business, Engineering, or Supply Chain from an accredited institution.
  • APICS CPIM certification.
  • Experience working and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
