About the position

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless alignment of supply planning and production scheduling to meet business objectives. You'll collaborate with diverse teams across departments to support optimal inventory levels, production timelines, and supply chain efficiency. This role will give you the opportunity to apply your analytical skills, production scheduling expertise, and project management abilities to drive impactful results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules for assigned product lines, including raw materials, packaging, semi-finished, and finished goods.
  • Create procurement plans for required materials (RMs) and manage purchase orders with suppliers to ensure a steady supply.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and business planning, to understand customer demand and forecast requirements.
  • Ensure alignment of production schedules with business objectives by optimizing inventory levels, lead times, and service level goals.
  • Set and manage inventory targets to balance service levels with cost-efficiency.
  • Monitor and adjust inventory levels to meet fluctuating business needs while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Conduct in-depth planning analyses to support decision-making processes and deliver clear insights for supply chain optimization.
  • Publish and present metrics related to service levels, inventory performance, and capacity to senior management.
  • Lead and participate in Lean Six Sigma projects to continuously improve supply chain planning and production scheduling processes.
  • Analyze and report on capacity requirements across the supply chain, ensuring production capabilities meet current and anticipated demands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of (2) two years' experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Materials, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • High School Diploma/GED AND four (7) seven years of experience in supply chain planning, production scheduling, or procurement.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with hands-on experience in supply chain planning, production scheduling, or procurement.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with experience in planning and scheduling in a dynamic environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and advanced data analysis.
  • Experience with SAP, IMES, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and planning tools to optimize supply chain operations.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is preferred.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification and/or Lean Manufacturing experience.
