This unique approach, reinforced by the hiring of smart, passionate, hard-working people who understand the benefits of both collaboration and independence, creates value for our team members and clients every day. As an analyst in supply chain solutions, you will work with clients to plan, execute, and optimize efficient network design and real estate strategies. In this role, you will apply your understanding of supply chain network modeling and transport cost optimization to help organizations improve how real estate effectively supports their business objectives and market growth strategies. You will determine the best location for inventory by conducting greenfield/brownfield assessments of distribution networks, quantify cost impacts, and provide recommendations for future state network design. You will also define strategies for consolidation, restructure, or expansion of supply chain networks, working closely with real estate brokerage on portfolio strategy. Your responsibilities will include recommending the best placement for client and branch facilities to optimize freight spend and reduce overall operating costs while meeting intended customer service targets. You will develop baseline metrics on supply chain components and determine optimal locations for production facilities and distribution centers through network analysis. Additionally, you will calculate freight costs when running “what if” scenarios that account for various shipping costs, perform general net base rate impact studies, and diagnose supply chain challenges while anticipating evolving areas of growth. You will partner to optimize logistics networks and evaluate the impact of proposed logistics changes, conduct diagnostic interviews with operations management personnel at client organizations, and collect, clean, analyze, and validate customer data for supply chain modeling activities. Finally, you will generate client recommendations, develop data visualizations, and present findings to clients, all while building relationships and delivering quality client services.
