About the position

The Supply Chain Analyst at IMCD US is responsible for managing assigned Principals and ensuring optimal service levels while meeting key performance indicators (KPIs). This role involves collaboration with various internal departments and external partners to resolve issues, analyze inventory, and improve processes. The analyst will also participate in ongoing education and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the overall success of the supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned Principals and understand product attributes, contacts, and major customers.
  • Keep inventory turns, service levels, and slow-moving stock within set KPIs.
  • Run analysis to confirm appropriate stocking locations and minimum order quantities.
  • Update forecasts monthly and communicate with sales regarding customer demand changes.
  • Develop and utilize sales models for 'A' COGS items.
  • Ensure accuracy of Principal Playbooks.
  • Submit monthly Principal expectations and On Time in Full revision summaries.
  • Update reorder reports monthly, including demand adjustments and lead time updates.
  • Follow up on 'C' item over order and expired stock reports.
  • Resolve conflicts by assisting team members, warehouses, Principals, and sales.
  • Assist team members to achieve department goals.
  • Develop and complete projects for process improvement as part of 90-day action items.
  • Understand the impact of job responsibilities on other departments and overall company success.
  • Participate in ongoing education to improve personal and job skills.
  • Attend department and joint customer service meetings.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in annual physical inventories at warehouses as needed.
  • Complete necessary support work as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with ERP Systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree.
  • Lean or Six Sigma experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Membership in APICS or ISM.
  • APICS Certification.
