About the position

The Supply Chain Analyst position is a critical role within a well-established manufacturing and distribution company located in Northeast Ohio. This hybrid role requires the candidate to work in the office two days a week and every other Friday, making it essential for applicants to reside in the Northeast Ohio area. The company has been in operation for over 80 years and is focused on enhancing its supply chain functions through the implementation of a new ERP system. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building and implementing MRP (Material Requirements Planning), planning, and purchasing functions within this new ERP environment. This is a direct hire, salaried position with a compensation range of $100,000 to $115,000. Candidates must have a strong background in manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain analysis, with documented experience in working with mid-market or larger ERP systems. Familiarity with MRP and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) software is essential, as the role involves managing supply chain processes within an ERP environment. The Supply Chain Analyst will collaborate with IT and operational leaders to develop project scopes, milestones, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring that all IT policies and procedures are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle. In addition to project management responsibilities, the analyst will work closely with senior management to align supply chain strategies with the overall business plan. This includes translating business requirements into effective system solutions and acting as a liaison between various teams to drive efficiency in claims data and influence future processes. The role is integral to the company's strategic objectives and will require a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage supply chain processes within the ERP environment in both direct and indirect matrix structures.
  • Develop project scope, milestones, deliverables, and timelines for supply chain initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT and operational leaders to ensure successful implementation of MRP and planning functions.
  • Develop IT policies and procedures and ensure adherence across the organization.
  • Work with senior management to align supply chain strategies with the overall business plan.
  • Translate business requirements into system solutions and designs.
  • Act as a liaison between leaders and various teams to drive efficiency within claims data.

Requirements

  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain analysis.
  • Documented experience with mid-market or larger ERP systems (e.g., Infor, Epicor, Syteline).
  • Experience with MRP and WMS software.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to develop project scopes and timelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with IT and operational leaders.
