About the position

The Supply Chain Analyst at Teva Pharmaceuticals plays a crucial role in managing a vast inventory of over 14,000 SKUs and maintaining relationships with over 300 vendors. This position focuses on ensuring optimal inventory turns, conducting trend analysis, and managing analytics related to cost and margin trends. The analyst will support decision-making processes through statistical analysis, market forecasting, and vendor management, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing over 14,000 SKUs and relationships with over 300 vendors.
  • Ensure inventory turns and perform trend analysis.
  • Conduct analytics on cost and margin trends, IMS market share, and backorder reporting.
  • Understand and implement supply chain policies and procedures through purchasing systems.
  • Perform statistical analysis to support decision-making for product selection and market forecasting.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve inventory objectives and cost savings.
  • Analyze profitability of new product proposals and develop plans to increase gross profit.
  • Study market pricing to ensure competitiveness on an individual item basis.
  • Develop and improve supplier relationships and maximize efficiencies for information flow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and FDA regulations.
  • Experience with inventory analysis, forecasting, and supply management.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SCORE buying systems, TPS, and/or JDE.
  • Familiarity with distribution, supplier negotiations, and market pricing.
