About the position

The Supply Chain Analyst at Starco Impex Inc. is responsible for optimizing supply chain processes by collaborating with various teams, analyzing data, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. This role involves managing inventory levels, forecasting demand, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
  • Collect and analyze data; design, develop, and maintain databases related to product sales, order fulfillment, and inventory turnover using advanced MS Excel and MS Power BI.
  • Analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast demand for convenience store products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement replenishment strategies to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Negotiate terms, lead times, and pricing agreements with suppliers.
  • Assess supplier performance and address quality, delivery, or cost issues.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize supply chain processes.
  • Manage customer orders and ensure on-time delivery while minimizing shipping costs.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for accurate order fulfillment.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction within the supply chain.
  • Implement process enhancements, such as automation and technology solutions.
  • Assess and mitigate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain performance.
  • Report on KPIs and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to product handling and transportation.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to supply chain activities.
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve issues and build relationships.
  • Analyze supply chain costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Two (2) years of documented experience in project management adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Two (2) years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining databases using advanced MS Excel and MS Power BI.
