About the position

The Supply Chain Analyst position at Benco Dental involves comprehensive data analyses aimed at providing actionable recommendations to the supply chain and operations departments. The role requires a strong understanding of supply chain KPIs and the ability to communicate findings effectively to a non-technical audience. This position supports the company's mission to drive dentistry forward by leveraging data to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and report KPIs for the supply chain department.
• Identify opportunities, make recommendations based on analysis, and monitor results of action taken.
• Employ a combination of technical skill, research methodologies, domain knowledge, and statistical analysis to explore and answer data requests.
• Become a superuser of Benco's supply chain planning software (training provided).
• Cross-functionally collaborate with marketing, finance, supply chain and operations.
• Provide monthly reporting on performance to plan/forecast.
• Monitor market trends to assist in planning/preparation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or related field
• 1-3 years' experience in a supply chain or business analytics role
• 1-3 years' experience in the distribution industry (preferred)
• 1-3 years' experience in the dental industry (preferred)
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity.

Nice-to-haves

• Thorough understanding of supply chain KPIs.
• Knowledge and proven use of SQL.
• Thorough knowledge of research and statistical analysis methods.
• Familiarity using and creating business intelligence dashboards and reports (Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI or similar).
• Knowledge of advanced analytic tools (Python, R, SPSS) to manipulate data and perform data analysis.
