About the position

The Supply Chain and Logistics Support Tech Associate plays a crucial role in utilizing Information Technology to manage data across multiple systems, ensuring effective communication and coordination among work groups. This position is responsible for tracking demand requirements, coordinating with sourcing, and providing updates to various teams while also managing costs and budgets to support finance and accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Information Technology in multiple systems to build required data for work groups.
• Track demand requirements against work schedules and coordinate with Sourcing for updates.
• Provide expediting support between Logistics Supplier and Integrated Supply Chain for emergent needs.
• Update information in systems to communicate effectively to multiple groups.
• Track costs and budgets to assist Finance and Accounting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience in electric utility sourcing (generation, substation).
• Strong knowledge of Information Systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-assessment and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service focus with the ability to build credibility with internal clients and external suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting.
