About the position

The Supply Chain and Operations Consulting Manager - Retail Logistics at Accenture is responsible for helping clients develop and implement strategies that enhance their supply chain processes. This role involves integrating various functions such as planning, procurement, product design, manufacturing, and fulfillment, while also connecting suppliers and customers across extended supply chains. The position requires strong analytical skills to identify challenges and provide actionable insights, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Find solutions to clients' supply chain and operations-related challenges.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working on Supply Chain initiatives.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Transportation Management (TMS) systems and Warehouse Management systems (WMS).
• Minimum of 5 years of external experience at a consulting firm or 5 years of internal consulting experience in a role equivalent to Manager level within industry.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate's degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of logistics processes for Retail, including inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution of goods.
• Deep specialization in procurement or 3rd party cost takeout initiatives; forecasting, supply chain planning, and inventory optimization; manufacturing production experience in either continuous or discrete manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Excel in building and developing relationships, overseeing complex programs and demonstrating leadership.
• Earned an MBA or equivalent graduate degree.
• Functional-level understanding of technology solutions.
• Lean or Six Sigma qualifications.
• Prior experience in driving insights using visualization tools (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (i.e. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).
