About the position

The Supply Chain and Operations Consulting Manager - Retail Logistics at Accenture is responsible for helping clients develop and implement strategies that enhance their supply chain processes. This role involves integrating various functions such as planning, procurement, manufacturing, and fulfillment, while also ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams. The manager will leverage data analytics and digital technologies to drive improvements in efficiency and effectiveness within the supply chain, ultimately supporting clients in achieving their operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Find solutions to clients' supply chain and operations-related challenges.
• Spot and solve challenges using analytical skills to dive into data and check that against the real world.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working on Supply Chain initiatives.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Transportation Management (TMS) systems and Warehouse Management systems (WMS).
• Minimum of 5 years of external experience at a consulting firm or 5 years of internal consulting experience in a role equivalent to Manager level within industry.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate's degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of logistics processes for Retail, including inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution of goods.
• Deep specialization in procurement or 3rd party cost takeout initiatives; forecasting, supply chain planning, and inventory optimization; manufacturing production experience in either continuous or discrete manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Excel in building and developing relationships, overseeing complex programs and demonstrating leadership.
• MBA or equivalent graduate degree.
• Functional-level understanding of technology solutions.
• Lean or Six Sigma qualifications.
• Experience in driving insights using visualization tools (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (i.e. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).
