The Supply Chain and Operations professional role at Accenture involves developing strategies and operating models that enhance the efficiency of supply chain processes for Fortune 500 clients. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, communication abilities, and leadership to address complex supply chain challenges, optimize operations, and drive sustainable practices across various functions including planning, procurement, manufacturing, and fulfillment.

Responsibilities

  • Find solutions to clients' supply chain and operations-related challenges
  • Spot and solve challenges using analytical skills to dive into data
  • Lead workshops to improve organizations and processes
  • Determine methods and procedures for project completion
  • Provide clients with insights to enhance operational efficiency
  • Challenge legacy processes to fuel client growth
  • Utilize digital technology to improve organizational effectiveness
  • Lead small to medium-sized teams with diverse backgrounds
  • Effectively manage and coach team members
  • Support client sales origination and thought leadership development
  • Ensure projects align with client goals
  • Drive positive community impact
  • Use analytical tools and digital technology for operational improvements
  • Understand logistics processes for Retail, including inventory management and distribution.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working on Supply Chain initiatives
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Transportation Management (TMS) systems and Warehouse Management systems (WMS)
  • Minimum of 5 years of external experience at a consulting firm or equivalent internal consulting experience at Manager level
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years); Associate's degree requires minimum 6 years of work experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Understanding of logistics processes for Retail, including inventory management and distribution
  • Deep specialization in procurement or cost takeout initiatives
  • Experience in forecasting, supply chain planning, and inventory optimization
  • Manufacturing production experience in continuous or discrete environments
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving
  • Strong relationship-building and leadership skills
  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree
  • Functional-level understanding of technology solutions
  • Lean or Six Sigma qualifications
  • Experience with data analytics tools for improvement opportunities
  • Prior experience using visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, and analytics tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics.
