About the position

The Supply Chain and Operations Consulting Manager for Utilities at Accenture is responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing supply chain processes within the utilities sector, including electricity, gas, water, and renewable energy. This role focuses on developing strategies and operating models that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery while leveraging data analytics and digital technologies to drive transformation in supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, and optimize supply chain processes within the utilities sector.
  • Develop and implement strategies that improve the entire supply chain process.
  • Lead workshops to identify and solve operational challenges.
  • Provide insights to clients to enhance their operational efficiency.
  • Challenge legacy processes and propose innovative solutions.
  • Utilize digital technologies to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Manage and coach small to medium-sized teams.
  • Support client sales origination and thought leadership development.
  • Drive positive community impact through supply chain initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Utilities Industry with digital transformation experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working on Supply Chain initiatives.
  • Minimum of 5 years of external consulting experience or equivalent internal consulting experience at a Manager level.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analytics tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Deep specialization in procurement or cost takeout initiatives.
  • Experience in forecasting, supply chain planning, and inventory optimization.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving environments.
  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree.
  • Functional-level understanding of technology solutions like SAP or Oracle.
  • Lean or Six Sigma qualifications.
