Responsibilities
- Develop Sourcing Strategies: Lead the creation and execution of sourcing strategies that align with clients' business goals and maximize supplier value.
- Procurement Process Optimization: Analyze and streamline procurement workflows, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs.
- Supplier Management & Negotiation: Lead supplier negotiations and foster long-term supplier relationships, ensuring performance and quality standards.
- Data-Driven Insights: Use data analytics to track procurement metrics and identify areas for optimization and cost savings.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their strategic objectives and tailor procurement solutions to meet those needs.
- Technology Integration: Guide clients in the integration of digital tools and technologies to drive automation and enhance procurement visibility.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and timely project delivery.
- Change Management: Support clients through the change management process during procurement transformations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain roles.
- Minimum of 2 years of consulting experience or equivalent in an internal consulting capacity.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and drive results.
- Strong communication and client management skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with procurement software tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement Cloud).
- Lean, Six Sigma, or similar certifications.
- Skilled in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for procurement insights.
- MBA or other advanced degrees.
