About The Position

The Supply Chain Planning Consultant role at Accenture involves working with clients to implement end-to-end planning processes across supply chain and operations. The consultant will ensure alignment with business objectives and drive efficiency in various areas such as Sales & Operations planning, demand planning, supply planning, production scheduling, and inventory management. The position requires a strong understanding of integrated planning processes and the ability to analyze data to provide insights that enhance organizational performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working on Supply Chain initiatives.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working on Integrated Planning initiatives.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industries such as Hi-Tech, Software & Platforms, Semi-Conductor, Life Sciences, Industrial, Chemicals, Consumer Goods & Services, Retail, and Travel Services.
  • Minimum of 1 year of external experience at a consulting firm or 2 years of internal consulting experience at a Manager level.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate's degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep specialization in Demand Forecasting, S&OP, S&OE, Inventory Planning.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree.
  • Functional-level understanding of integrated planning technology solutions (e.g., IBP, O9, OMP, Kinaxis).
  • Lean or Six Sigma qualifications.
  • Experience with data analytics tools for improvement opportunities.
  • Prior experience using visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).

Responsibilities

  • Implement the end-to-end planning process across supply chain and operations.
  • Ensure alignment with business objectives and drive efficiency.
  • Work with clients on Sales & Operations planning, demand planning, supply planning, production scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Identify and solve supply chain and operations challenges using analytical and strategic skills.
  • Assist with workshops aimed at improving organizations and processes.
  • Provide insights to clients to enhance their operational efficiency.
  • Challenge legacy processes to fuel client growth.
  • Utilize digital technology to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead small to medium-sized teams with diverse backgrounds.
  • Support client sales origination and thought leadership development.
