About the position

The Supply Chain Planning Manager at Accenture is responsible for implementing and optimizing the end-to-end planning process across supply chain and operations. This role focuses on aligning planning strategies with business objectives, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The manager will work closely with clients to lead various planning capabilities, including Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management, while also addressing sustainability and resilience in supply chain practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated planning strategies for clients that align with organizational goals.
• Lead S&OP planning including the S&OP cycle of demand review, supply review, and executive reviews.
• Develop demand and supply planning processes, including forecasting, production planning, procurement, and inventory management.
• Enable strategic and tactical plans developed during the S&OP process, ensuring smooth implementation across the supply chain.
• Develop inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess stock and stockouts.
• Identify opportunities to streamline operations, improve forecasting accuracy, and reduce lead times.
• Identify and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain performance and develop action plans to address performance gaps.
• Develop governance and operating models across sales, marketing, production, and logistics to integrate business needs into planning processes.
• Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders to provide updates on planning performance and ensure alignment on goals.
• Proactively identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on business operations.
• Provide insights into supply chain performance through data analysis and reporting.
