About the position

The Supply Chain and Operations professional at Accenture will play a crucial role in helping clients implement and optimize their end-to-end planning processes across supply chain and operations. This position focuses on ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving efficiency through integrated planning strategies, demand and supply planning, inventory optimization, and performance management. The role involves leading various aspects of integrated planning, engaging with stakeholders, and utilizing data analytics to provide insights that enhance operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated planning strategies for clients that align with organizational goals.
  • Lead S&OP planning including the S&OP cycle of demand review, supply review, and pre-Exec & Exec S&OP reviews.
  • Develop demand and supply planning processes, including forecasting, production planning, procurement, and inventory management.
  • Enable strategic and tactical plans developed during the S&OP process, ensuring alignment across the supply chain.
  • Develop inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess stock.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline operations and improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain performance and develop action plans to address performance gaps.
  • Develop governance and operating models across sales, marketing, production, and logistics.
  • Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders to provide updates on planning performance.
  • Proactively identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide insights into supply chain performance through data analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working on Supply Chain initiatives.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working on Integrated Planning initiatives.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in industries such as Hi-Tech, Software & Platforms, Semi-Conductor, Life Sciences, Industrial, Energy, Chemicals, Consumer Goods & Services, Retail, and Travel Services.
  • Minimum of 5 years of external experience at a consulting firm or 8 years of internal consulting experience in a role equivalent to Manager level.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate's degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Deep specialization in strategies for Demand Forecasting, S&OP, S&OE, Inventory Planning.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Excellence in building and developing relationships and overseeing complex programs.
  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree.
  • Functional-level understanding of integrated planning technology solutions (e.g., IBP, O9, OMP, Kinaxis).
  • Lean or Six Sigma qualifications.
  • Experience using data analytics tools to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prior experience in driving insights using visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).
