About the position

The Supply Chain Planning Senior Manager at Accenture is responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end planning process across supply chain and operations for clients. This role focuses on ensuring alignment with business objectives, driving efficiency, and implementing integrated planning strategies that enhance operational performance. The position involves working closely with clients to develop and implement strategies for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), demand and supply planning, inventory management, and process improvement, ultimately aiming to deliver timely and cost-effective products while considering sustainability and resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated planning strategies for clients that align with organizational goals.
  • Lead S&OP planning including the S&OP cycle of demand review, supply review, and executive reviews.
  • Develop demand and supply planning processes, including forecasting, production planning, and inventory management.
  • Enable strategic and tactical plans from the S&OP process across the supply chain.
  • Develop inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess stock.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices and new technologies.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain performance and develop action plans to address gaps.
  • Develop governance and operating models to integrate business needs into planning processes.
  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to provide updates on planning performance and ensure alignment on goals.
  • Proactively identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide insights into supply chain performance through data analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in supply chain management and operations, particularly in integrated planning processes.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills to identify challenges and develop solutions.
  • Experience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and demand planning methodologies.
  • Ability to develop and implement inventory management strategies.
  • Familiarity with performance management and key performance indicators (KPIs) in supply chain contexts.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
