About the position

The Boeing Company is seeking a Supply Chain Artificial Intelligence Analytics Senior Manager to join its team in various locations including Berkeley, MO; Mesa, AZ; Plano, TX; or Seattle, WA. This role is pivotal in supporting Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives within the Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supply Chain domain. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing a team of employees and first-level managers who are engaged in data science and analytics. This position requires a strategic mindset to forecast, plan, and lead data science initiatives that align with the company's goals. In this role, the Senior Manager will develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies, and procedures, while also providing input on business and technical strategies. The candidate will be tasked with acquiring resources for departmental activities, managing supplier relationships, and leading process improvements. Building and maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports is essential for success in this position. The Senior Manager will also provide vision and oversight for technical approaches, products, and processes, ensuring that the team is motivated and developed effectively. This position is hybrid, requiring some onsite work at one of the specified locations, with the potential for changes in this requirement over time. Responsibilities

• Manage employees and first-level managers performing data science and analytics.
• Forecast, plan, and lead strategic data science and analytics initiatives.
• Develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies, and procedures.
• Provide input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives.
• Acquire resources for department activities and provide technical management of suppliers.
• Lead process improvements within the department.
• Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
• Provide vision, oversight, and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
• Manage, develop, and motivate employees and first-level managers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience within information technology.
• 5+ years of experience developing, analyzing, and deploying Artificial Intelligence and related algorithms.
• 5+ years of IT experience with an emphasis in supply chain business processes.
• 5+ years of experience with developing applications with SQL databases.
• 5+ years of experience in a managerial role.
