About the position

The Supply Chain Business Intelligence Developer at Bimbo Bakeries USA is responsible for delivering business intelligence services, leading BI software development, and presenting BI reports. This role involves transforming raw data into valuable reports that provide meaningful business insights, ensuring data security, and supporting end users in utilizing Power BI effectively.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing BI reports and dashboards to meet business stakeholders' needs
• Gathering and understanding business requirements for data visualization and analysis
• Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes
• Creating complex calculations and measures to support data analysis
• Ensuring data security and compliance with best practices
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in Power BI reports
• Providing training and support to end users on using Power BI
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and trends

Requirements

• Experience with data analysis & visualization tools required - Power BI, Tableau
• Foundational knowledge of supply chain principles and distribution required
• SQL and/or Database management skills or aptitude to quickly learn is important
• Minimum of Bachelor's degree or higher in business or related discipline
• 7+ years of proficiency in automated Planning systems, Oracle EBS/Cloud preferred

Nice-to-haves

• Data modeling & coding experience is a plus
• ERP, WMS, Demand Planning, or other Supply Chain planning software experience preferred
• Consumer products / food industry experience preferred
