The role is designated as mobile, allowing for remote work from various locations within the United States, with certain state restrictions. The specialist will support the strategic category manager in achieving significant cost reductions, define contracting optimization strategies, and work directly with stakeholders to develop and execute improvement plans. Responsibilities also include analyzing supplier performance data, leading supplier selection and management, and ensuring user satisfaction with the strategic sourcing process.
