About the position

The Supply Chain Contract Management Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Supply Chain Contracting department at Memorial Healthcare System. This role involves managing all aspects of supply, capital, and service contract administration, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, and leading vendor management activities. The manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize contract processes and drive innovation in contract management through technology and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily operations of the Supply Chain Contracting department.
  • Manage supply, capital, and service contract administration for the health system.
  • Oversee vendor credentialing process and collaborate with the Vendor Credentialing team.
  • Develop and maintain contract procedures and standards in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Lead vendor management activities including business reviews and contract requirements.
  • Create a systematic review process for contract updates and maintain contract templates.
  • Direct the contracting team to manage contracts and mediate issues.
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders regarding contract management.
  • Lead sourcing events including Public RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized Contract Management System.
  • Monitor market trends and evaluate supply chain contract compliance.
  • Create reporting schema on contracting activities and KPIs, and present reports to Supply Chain Leadership.
  • Participate in strategic planning for future cost savings and contract optimization.
  • Oversee administration of all supply, services, and equipment contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in supply chain contracting, preferably in healthcare.
  • Three years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Critical thinking and effective decision-making skills.
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to anticipate changing market trends for strategic business development.
