Supply Chain Data Analyst

About the position

Kforce has a client that is looking for a Supply Chain Data Analyst for an onsite, direct hire opportunity in Overland Park, KS. The Supply Chain Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data, and reporting results regarding the industry and the clients' businesses. They also provide recommendations based on analysis and will report into the Director of International Supply Chain in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Collect and interpret data and analyze results
• Report the results to the relevant members of the business
• Identify patterns and trends in multiple large and complex data sets
• Work alongside business and management teams to identify business needs
• Define new data collection and analysis processes, including data cleansing and validation
• Document processes for above
• Provide recommendations and process improvements based upon data analysis
• Develop a thorough understanding of clients' shipping requirements and patterns
• Establish sound customer service and data entry skills to support growth within the current position
• Participate in ad-hoc projects leveraging data sets for the business

Requirements

• College degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience and education
• 2+ years of operational experience in international transportation, preferably with an international logistics provider
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in Advanced Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables, macros) and Power BI, and experience with SQL and data visualization software
• Competency in PC and database applications (including Microsoft Office Suite)
• Ability to prepare concise and professional reports and presentations
• A well-organized self-starter who is highly detail oriented

Nice-to-haves

• Preferred understanding of international Purchase Order Management
• CargoWise or other TMS platform experience preferred
