About the position
The Supply Chain Data Product Designer at Ford Motor Company is a senior-level role focused on leading the execution of supply chain digitization initiatives. This position requires a strong technical background and the ability to manage cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful delivery of projects that enhance supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable product features and overseeing project planning and execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor cross-functional product teams comprising members from IT, supply chain operations, procurement, and other relevant departments.
- Collaborate with business owners and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document detailed product capabilities for supply chain digitization projects.
- Work with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize features based on business value, feasibility, and risk.
- Develop and manage comprehensive integrated project plans, including timelines and risk mitigation strategies.
- Define and track key program milestones, regularly reporting on progress to stakeholders and escalating issues promptly.
- Work closely with IT Product leads to align project plans with the overall product roadmap and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain and leverage technology to optimize workflows and increase efficiency.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digitization initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a supply chain or IT integration role, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Expertise in JIRA, GCP, Data Analytics, SharePoint, and Power Automate.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience with API integration and data transformation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
