This role is pivotal in developing innovative analytical approaches that enhance our supply chain operations and strategy. The Supply Chain Data Scientist will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and rolling out advanced planning and scheduling models, data analytics tools, process mining, cost-to-serve modeling, and freight management solutions. These efforts will support Huntsman's supply chain management processes, including defining model requirements, constructing models using Huntsman-supported software packages, and providing support to key users. In this position, you will update and support reporting systems primarily through Power BI, which are essential for data analytics and presenting results related to plans, schedules, and KPIs to relevant business functions. The candidate will design, build, configure, test, debug, and maintain various reports and dashboards. Additionally, you will introduce machine learning methodologies across a wide range of business use cases, acquire a deep understanding of business problems, and translate them into appropriate mathematical representations. You will also drive the execution of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to meet business needs, collect and cleanse complex data sources for analytical modeling, and manage special projects, pilots, proof of concepts, and ad-hoc project work. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with supply and demand planning business process leads to align business requirements with systems and process solutions that meet Huntsman's overall objectives. You will also support Celonis' process mining models to visualize process flows, identify bottlenecks, and streamline efficiencies through alerts and automated actions.
