About the position

The Supply Chain Data Specialist is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Lawson database, managing product taxable status, unit of measure, and item additions. This role involves significant interaction with master data, assisting with backorders, and coordinating with clinicians for consent on replacements, ensuring effective procurement operations and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement activities, ensuring contract compliance, and assisting with backorders.
• Maintain and update the MMIS database, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate effectively with peers, customers, and suppliers, providing excellent service and support.
• Perform functions using best practices, convert requested items to contracted items, and assist with audits.
• Conduct research, assist with data collection and analysis, and resolve GHX exceptions.

Requirements

• No degree required, but preferred. Relevant experience in supplies, supplier, or healthcare is advantageous.
• Minimum of 2+ years in a similar role, with some experience in healthcare.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret data patterns and trends.
• Ability to work independently.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Workday is a plus; EPIC experience is not required but beneficial.
