About the position

The Supply Chain Distribution Tech at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is responsible for managing the supply replenishment process within the hospital. This role involves ensuring that medical supplies are accurately counted, picked, stocked, and delivered to various departments, while also maintaining inventory records and providing excellent customer service to clinicians. The position is full-time, primarily during the afternoon shift, and plays a crucial role in supporting the hospital's operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage the supply replenishment process for par locations, including counting, picking, and stocking supplies.
• Perform daily par cart inventories and confirm orders for assigned areas.
• Create requisitions for non-stock supplies as needed.
• Deliver supplies to assigned par areas in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and other assigned areas.
• Assist in picking and delivering supplies to departments upon request.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of experience in supply chain or a related field.
• 6 months of experience in a customer service setting.
