Symbotic is seeking a Supply Chain Finance Lead to join our Cost and Project reporting team within the Finance organization. This is a fast-paced role, offering exposure across a wide variety of business activities. You will be part of the team building out process, best practices, and innovative ideas on how to best manage our supply chain relationships. In this position, you will be part of the embedded finance team and work on Project Cost Control and Procurement Approval Process, EAC/Portfolio Reporting, Supplier Management, and support the Supply Chain Functions. This role will report to the Manager, Costing and Project Reporting. The finance costing and project reporting team plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of projects within an organization. Their responsibilities typically encompass a range of activities related to project costs, budget management, and financial reporting. As the Supply Chain Finance Lead, you will be accountable for Supply Chain Project Cost Control, Estimate at Completion (EAC) / Estimate to Complete (ETC) data collection and Reporting, Customer Reporting, support Risk Management and Change Management. You will also support the Supply Chain functional lead, contract negotiations through direct interaction with suppliers, and budget management and supplier performance. In this role, you will work proactively with key stakeholders to learn more about business costing, generate project reporting on budgets, actuals, forecasts, and variances, approve purchase requisitions/orders and change management, track Supply Chain savings & affordability by category, contribute to Contract Management and strategic decision-making, coordinate the Supplier Claim Process, and aid in project governance, project delivery processes, and project reporting standards. Up to 10% travel may be requested, and employees must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
