Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits is seeking a Supply Chain Finance Manager who will be responsible for planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and other critical KPI reporting. This role reports directly to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, will have one direct report, and will collaborate closely with the inventory and logistics planning team. This Supply Chain Finance Manager's expertise in supply chain/logistics finance principles and financial analysis will be influential in driving optimization of supply chain operations and finding cost efficiencies. Through cross functional collaboration, you will identify risks and opportunities and will own specific areas in reporting company-wide results. This position offers a high degree of flexibility between working remotely and working in Stamford, CT. Candidates must live commutable to our Stamford, CT headquarters to join in-person meetings or events from time-to-time.

Responsibilities

  • Providing strategic or operational financial leadership to Supply Chain Inventory & Planning
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision making
  • Analyze production variances, freight, warehousing, and other supply chain costs vs. budget and forecasts
  • Drive end to end processes, analyses, and tools to standardize reporting
  • Creating, improving, and managing business/financial metrics, reports, and financial reviews for Supply Chain
  • Oversee team responsible for Supply Chain budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
  • Partner cross functionally and with leadership to drive strategic initiatives and long-term success
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis, as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or business; MBA a plus
  • 7+ years' experience in financial analysis; Logistics/Supply Chain Finance experience required
  • 2+ years of direct management experience, preferred
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Advanced analytical mind to synthesize data and develop innovative solutions and recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be adept at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to identify issues/opportunities for improvement and be proactive in addressing them
