About the position

The Supply Chain Finance Manager at GE HealthCare is responsible for ensuring technical accounting compliance and enhancing financial and operational internal controls. This role focuses on process simplification and operational excellence to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis. The manager will interpret business challenges and recommend best practices while staying informed of industry trends that may influence the work.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement internal controls over financial reporting, including accounting policy implementations and SOX compliance.
  • Serve as controllership experts on financial system and ERP implementations.
  • Influence the development of strategy within the finance area, including resource control and policy formulation.
  • Lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements and complexity.
  • Communicate complex concepts and influence others' opinions on financial matters.
  • Advise management on important financial subjects and support decision-making processes.
  • Assess the quality of information provided and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.
  • Offer innovative solutions to problems and construct recommendations based on multiple internal and external sources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Established project management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls.
  • Knowledge of financial systems and ERP implementations.
