As a Fleet Coordinator at Zipcar, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our fleet of vehicles is always ready for our members. This position requires you to leverage technology to guide your team in the field, ensuring that vehicles are clean, in good condition, and ready to drive. Your responsibilities will involve coordinating the repair life cycle of vehicles, from the moment they require repair until they are back on the grid for rent. This includes collaborating with various stakeholders such as ABF supply chain partners, third-party maintenance vendors, shuttling companies, towing vendors, and impound recovery facilities. You will be responsible for updating Zipcar's work management system daily with estimated times of arrival (ETAs) for vehicle repairs, pertinent notes regarding the repair process, and closing out tickets once repairs are complete. In this role, you will also be tasked with securing in-fleet units from ABG, which involves requesting units, branding, key tethering, and up-kitting. Additionally, you will schedule de-fleet units for disposal. Your success in this position will be driven by your strong relationship-building skills, background in working with third-party vendors, and experience with online ticket-based workflows. The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on business needs is essential, as is a background in fleet management and logistics, which are strongly preferred.
