About the position

The Supply Chain Generalist position at Next Century Spirits is an entry-level role designed for motivated individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in various supply chain functions. The role involves collaborating with multiple departments to ensure efficient operations and support the end-to-end supply chain process, including planning, procurement, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in inventory planning/materials management and production scheduling.
• Support procurement activities by sourcing materials, preparing purchase orders, and managing vendor relationships.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Assist with timelines, deliverables, and status reporting for new product projects and reorder projects.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Work closely with marketing, operations, finance, and sales teams to ensure alignment of supply chain strategies with business goals.
• Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvements across planning, procurement, and project management functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field or related experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (experience with ERP systems is a plus).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and handle cross-functional tasks.
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous internship or work experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics is a plus.
• Basic understanding of supply chain concepts such as demand planning, supply planning, procurement, and project management.
