About the position

Pratt & Whitney is at the forefront of transforming the future of flight, and we are seeking a Supply Chain Industrial Lead to join our Global Supply Chain team. This remote position is crucial as we ramp up production of the Geared Turbo Fan product line, ensuring that both legacy and new engine programs can meet customer demand with a robust supply base of exceptional quality. The successful candidate will be part of the Operational Excellence (OpX) group and will play a pivotal role in supporting the Engine Programs Externals Component Integrated Project Team (CIPT). This role requires a motivated and high-energy leader who can effectively collaborate with various departments including purchasing, global sourcing, quality, engineering, and operations to ensure all aspects of readiness are achieved for existing products. In this position, you will be responsible for providing industrial planning, which includes establishing the structure, framework, and timing for sourcing and manufacturing decisions. You will prioritize and complete production readiness assessments, assess capacity at producers across designated Engine Programs, and develop, track, and close action items to enhance capacity and capability at suppliers. Additionally, you will handle single points of failure and material changes that may impact sourcing decisions, ensuring that transition plans are properly supported to maintain delivery until new sources are operational. Identifying risks to the supplier production ramp, building mitigation plans, and driving actions to closure will also be key responsibilities.
