About the position

Evaluate the Supply Chain information systems on a continual basis to ensure the systems are working efficiently and effectively as a cooperative and connected system. Conduct application testing and provide database management support. Interface with technical and in-house personnel to determine exact nature of problem and implement procedures to resolve identified issues. Automate processes through the creation of reports and queries. Responsible for all data related to Supply Chain Operations. Responsible for data extraction needs from ancillary systems (EPIC, GHX, etc.). Responsible for data extraction needs for affiliates, collaborative partners, and GPOs (Vizient, Broadjump, ECRI). Use analytical tools to suggest and implement improvements to supply chain business functions like demand forecasting and inventory optimization. Assists in creation of regular and custom reports documenting purchasing, inventory control and contract history and procedures for the needs of the division. Research, monitor, and create reports to maintain data integrity. Responsible for accuracy, integrity and maintenance of Item Catalog.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, update and ensure accuracy of Stormont Vail Health's item catalog.
  • Plan, evaluate, oversee and assist in the configuration and integration of Supply Chain technological systems.
  • Create, implement and provide ongoing support for Supply Chain databases and analytic functions.
  • Participate on teams internal to the Supply Chain division as well as cross-functional teams within the organization.
  • Act as 'super user' for supply chain systems and assist with user questions.
  • Oversee contract management and supply-to-contract relation within WD.
  • Research and recommend Workday enhancements and functionalities.
  • Interact with network services, system administrators, and/or application teams as needed.
  • Gather end-user and business requirements to innovate new functionality and/or enhancements.
  • Maintain changes and updates to the Workday System through the use of journals and logs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer science, business or related discipline.
  • 3 years Experience working within data management system with focus on input, integration and output.
  • 2 years Experience in health system Supply Chain Operations - purchasing, inventory management.
  • 1 year Specific experience with Workday applications, functions and structure of system.
  • 1 year Experience in creating, manipulating and exporting functional reports.
  • 1 year Experience with contract management and analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 year Experience with Supply Chain supporting resources such as ECRI, Broadjump, Vizient, Aptitude.
  • Experience with integrated systems - EPIC, GHX.
