About the position

The Supply Chain Intern at NetJets Services, Inc. is designed to provide valuable professional work experience and industry insight to interns. This role involves managing special projects and collaborating with a department mentor to gain an understanding of NetJets' operations and methodologies. Interns will engage in meaningful work that contributes to the company's supply chain processes while developing their skills in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete department assigned project(s) in a timely and effective manner.
• Collaborate directly with a department mentor; set goals and monitor progress.
• Develop an understanding of the NetJets operations, approach, methodology & tools.
• Manage real-time asset tracking throughout the NetJets supply chain by implementing tracking labels for high dollar shipments.
• Manage reverse logistics of unserviceable, high dollar Core aircraft parts from Maintenance Vendors to NetJets warehouses.
• Collect and analyze data to help improve supply chain operations.
• Develop KPIs for material movement and reverse logistics and provide updates on performance.
• Develop and deliver supply chain operations presentations to senior leaders.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, working towards a Bachelor's Degree.
• 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
• Task-oriented, organized, and conscientious.
• Clear, professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, positive, personable, and ability to develop relationships.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and experience with internet research.
• Comfortable with Excel spreadsheets, tracking, and analysis.
• Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
