This position will be responsible for activity and support for the Production Control Manager or their team. The purpose of this position is to assist with ensuring mass production meets customer requirements. This position offers opportunities to work with a wide variety of aspects of the manufacturing processes, a wide variety of departments and levels of management within the company both domestic and international.
Responsibilities
- Order and confirm inventory according to the production plan.
- Production scheduling.
- Confirmation of finished goods inventories and shipment status to customers.
- Evaluate and maintain production planning spreadsheets, communicate plan to production team, update planning software.
- Confirm inventory levels and investigate/reconcile production inventory discrepancies.
- Utilize and evaluate customer data to plan production and purchases.
- Evaluate and maintain finished goods inventories at acceptable levels.
- Issue Purchase Orders to suppliers per procedures. Maintain tracking and reporting. Follow up on delivery of purchased items.
- Other duties assigned.
