About the position

The Supply Chain Logistics Manager at Cirkul, Inc. plays a pivotal role in supporting the global supply chain and logistics teams. This position is responsible for scheduling, documentation, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely and complete deliveries. As a key player in the organization, the manager will oversee business processes that impact the entire supply chain, from purchasing to customer delivery, ensuring they are efficient and adaptable. Given Cirkul's rapid growth, the planning and execution of effective supply chain strategies are essential for maintaining market leadership and ensuring customer satisfaction. On a typical day, the Supply Chain Logistics Manager will drive results by supporting supply chain, operations, and manufacturing teams to coordinate the accurate transportation of inventory both domestically and externally. This includes organizing and documenting logistics-related paperwork with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. The manager will take ownership by sourcing multiple quotes from vendors to secure optimal pricing and will proactively plan and execute numerous simultaneous operations while keeping key internal stakeholders informed about material movement. The role also involves making informed decisions by developing a comprehensive understanding of the supply chain to identify opportunities for cost, quality, and lead time improvements in logistics operations. Building and cultivating relationships is crucial, as the manager will coordinate with finance and accounting teams to ensure a consistent and accurate flow of information and documentation. Instilling trust through a track record of consistency, predictability, and agility is vital for overcoming logistics-related challenges. Finally, a strong customer focus is required to ensure that vendors deliver on time and in full, keeping all linked production processes running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Support supply chain, operations, and manufacturing teams to coordinate on-time and accurate transportation of inventory.
  • Organize and document logistics-related paperwork with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Source multiple quotes from vendors to ensure optimal pricing.
  • Plan and execute numerous simultaneous operations effectively.
  • Keep key internal stakeholders updated on material movement.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the supply chain to improve cost, quality, and lead time in logistics operations.
  • Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to ensure consistent and accurate flow of information and documentation.
  • Develop a track record of consistency, predictability, and agility to overcome logistics-related challenges.
  • Ensure on-time and in-full deliveries to maintain production processes.

Requirements

  • 2-6+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within small teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Superb project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with GSuite and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of food supply chain or experience in the manufacturing field is a plus.
