About the position

The Supply Chain Make IT Analyst 3 at Kenvue plays a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and implementing complex IT applications within the manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for supporting the Global IT Make Strategy, enhancing manufacturing processes, and ensuring the stability and reliability of IT solutions. The analyst will collaborate with various teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, oversee application development, and provide advanced technical support for information management applications.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, program, implement, and integrate complex computer applications.
  • Edit and finalize concept design specifications for existing systems.
  • Troubleshoot high-level applications and oversee the installation and testing of hardware and software.
  • Provide advanced technical support for information management applications including data networking and database design.
  • Organize all aspects of application development from analysis through implementation.
  • Provide documentation, application design, project plans, and computer code necessary for new applications.
  • Support current systems and design complex features as requested.
  • Develop computer logic flowcharts for analysis and integration.
  • Lead research, recommend, and implement advanced application upgrades and enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Microsoft, Web Apps, HTML5, and Python maintenance and support for a Supply Chain environment, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in MES software platforms such as Traksys, PASx, SAP, Wonderware, or Rockwell Software FactoryTalk ProductionCentre.
  • General understanding of manufacturing processes, including production scheduling, quality management, and inventory control.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server) and data integration techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Hands-on configuration and scripting experience with the Parsec TrakSYS software platform.
  • Experience with EDGE and Kepware device integration and maintenance.
  • Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., FDA, ISO) related to manufacturing operations.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation technologies, such as PLCs and SCADA systems.
  • Professional certifications preferred but not required: Parsec, Microsoft .Net or SQL.
