About the position

The Supply Chain Management Intern position at Stellantis offers a unique opportunity for highly motivated and innovative individuals to engage in challenging assignments that are vital to the success of the organization. This internship will run from May 19 to August 8, 2025, and will be conducted remotely, with the option for interns in the Metro-Detroit area to work from the Stellantis Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Interns are responsible for their own transportation to and from work, as Stellantis does not provide transportation or housing assistance. Interns will be assigned to a specific department based on their background and skill set, allowing them to work on meaningful, project-oriented assignments that contribute to the department's goals. The internship program emphasizes teamwork, communication, and personal accomplishment, providing interns with exposure to cutting-edge projects and technologies. Interns will also have opportunities for mentorship from experienced professionals, networking with peers and leaders, and participation in skill development workshops and training sessions. The Supply Chain Management organization is responsible for managing the flow of parts and materials, connecting demand to production plans, and overseeing parts and vehicle transportation networks. Interns will have the chance to work within various organizations, including Demand Planning, Supply, Transportation, Transformation Projects, and Global Supplier Delivery Crisis Management. Each of these areas offers unique challenges and learning experiences, allowing interns to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting and gain valuable industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the flow of parts and materials within the supply chain.
  • Support demand forecasting and vehicle inventory analysis.
  • Participate in reporting, validation, and order allocation processes.
  • Align demand plans with production capacities to develop optimal vehicle production plans.
  • Help resolve production and supplier constraints and manage material requirement variances.
  • Contribute to the management of parts and vehicle transportation networks and cost management.
  • Engage in transformation projects related to new program launches and supply chain assumptions.
  • Work with suppliers to develop production and supply plans for critical part constraints.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous internship or work experience in supply chain or logistics.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management software or tools.
  • Knowledge of transportation and logistics principles.
