About the position

The Supply Chain Management Director is responsible for planning and managing material requirements, warehouse operations, and customer service to achieve Golden State Foods' objectives for quality, efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. This role involves developing strategic direction for the supply chain, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, and overseeing various operational functions to enhance performance and service levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop CIM's supply chain strategic direction and goals, ensuring alignment with Plant and Corporate Strategic objectives.
• Monitor the adequacy of action plans to meet the plant's objectives and performance toward achieving key performance indicators.
• Manage and develop Prism manufacturing software to ensure data integrity and support operations, materials management, warehousing, and accounting.
• Manage demand planning and forecasting for production scheduling to ensure an uninterrupted supply of specification products.
• Oversee GSF's Customer Service department regarding orders, customer concerns, product requirements, and service level tracking.
• Manage and develop the Warehouse Business Unit to ensure inventory accuracy, expense management, and warehouse efficiencies.
• Manage all assigned staff, including training, performance evaluations, and career development.
• Audit operational procedures to identify and implement improvements in product availability, storage optimization, and inventory accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration from an accredited college or university.
• 7 to 15 years of relevant work experience.
• Expert knowledge of warehousing concepts and techniques.
• Expert knowledge of inventory planning, manufacturing systems, and financial/accounting.
• Journey-level knowledge of food manufacturing/distribution, order processing, and transportation concepts.
• Journey-level management concepts and techniques.
