About the position

The Senior Supply Chain Manager for Amazon Air's Demand and Operations Planning team is responsible for driving asset utilization and improving forecast accuracy. This role involves collaborating with data scientists and operational leaders to enhance the supply chain demand forecast, managing demand planning for high-volume events, and advising senior leadership on strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will navigate complex problems, manage multiple projects, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment, directly influencing Amazon's business and customer promise.

Responsibilities

• Build strong partnerships with data scientists and operational leaders to create roadmaps for program improvement.
• Collaborate with upstream and downstream partners to integrate the Amazon supply chain demand forecast.
• Develop S&OP reporting and communications.
• Manage demand planning cadence for high volume events.
• Advise senior leadership on long-term decisions and structural changes to forecasting demand.
• Navigate through ambiguity and manage multiple project assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or a related technical or quantitative field.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Master's degree or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience.
• 3+ years of experience in owning program strategy and communicating results to senior leadership.
