Our focus is on delivering innovative, sustainable solutions with a safety-first mindset. The Supply Chain Manager will play a crucial role in supporting our metals manufacturing business. This position involves overseeing process standardization, equipment procurement, inventory management, and delivery logistics. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for developing standard processes and training for manufacturing operations, optimizing the internal supply network, and ensuring quality assurance through routine assessments. Building strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and partners at plants is essential for success in this role. In addition, the Supply Chain Manager will develop an inventory plan for standard products and internal components, participate in yearly time studies across product lines, and create and update the VOP list for all process paths in coordination with metals manufacturing facilities. The role also includes supporting product internalization efforts and overseeing the creation of automated processes for operations data reporting. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to achieving results, despite challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Develop standard processes and trainings for manufacturing operations and internal installation.
  • Optimize and plan capacity for the internal supply network.
  • Develop quality assurance processes and conduct routine assessments.
  • Build relationships with key internal stakeholders and partners at plants.
  • Develop inventory plans for standard products and internal components in close coordination with plants.
  • Participate in yearly time studies across product lines.
  • Create and update VOP list for all process paths in coordination with metals manufacturing facilities.
  • Support product internalization efforts.
  • Oversee the creation of automated processes for operations data reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or 5 years work experience in supply chain management.
  • Experience managing projects and implementation.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills Set.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communicator and organized.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for business and achieving organizational goals.
  • Collaborator with ability to share thoughts openly, accept new ideas, and get the job done in a highly interactive process.
