About the position

The International Supply Chain Manager at Dickey's Barbecue Pit will oversee the international supply chain operations, focusing on establishing and managing relationships with global franchisees and US exporters. This role requires expertise in navigating trade barriers, understanding harmonization codes, and ensuring compliance with Halal requirements. The position is pivotal in driving the profitable growth of the company by coordinating the flow of materials and managing international distribution effectively.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and manage relationships between Dickey's and US Exporters of various food and non-food products.
• Manage international distributors to support franchisees, including new franchise owner setup and item maintenance.
• Define performance metrics for evaluating supply chain factors such as product cost and quality.
• Coordinate outbound shipments of raw materials and supplies for export or international distribution.
• Ensure efficient distribution and flow of materials to meet country requirements and customer demand.
• Oversee work coordination and evaluation of materials being shipped.
• Manage employees, including skills development, safety, and performance evaluation.
• Lead development of supply chain operating objectives and monitor adherence to plans.
• Initiate improvement programs for business objectives including safety, quality, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of related experience in supply chain management
• Demonstrated knowledge of the transportation and distribution industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to problem-solve and work independently
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Basic understanding of accounting and budgeting processes
• Solid experience with computer systems for order processing and inventory management.
