About the position

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team to ensure that both customer and internal metrics are maintained at acceptable levels. This role involves managing the plant's continuous improvement plan, ensuring safe operation of material handling equipment, and developing a skilled team proficient in the IAC ERP system and Lean Manufacturing tools. The manager will implement SCM BASIACs, manage inventory accuracy, and ensure on-time delivery of materials and goods, while also maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the SCM team to maintain customer and internal metrics at acceptable levels.
  • Manage the plant's SCM continuous improvement plan.
  • Ensure safe operation of material handling equipment according to guidelines.
  • Develop a team proficient in IAC ERP system and Lean Manufacturing tools.
  • Implement IAC SCM BASIACs and address gaps with a continuous improvement plan.
  • Manage the ECN process for continuous flow of materials.
  • Ensure understanding and achievement of the plant's logistics plan.
  • Manage inventory to achieve accuracy and turn objectives.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies in duties.
  • Manage physical inventory processes for accuracy and alignment with corporate policy.
  • Ensure on-time delivery to customers and develop actions for improvement.
  • Manage supply base and SCM team for on-time delivery of purchased goods.
  • Establish a proper escalation process for communication regarding shipment delays.
  • Collaborate with plant management to achieve targets and objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Electronic Engineering, Engineering Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (equivalent foreign degree accepted).
  • Three years of experience in a similar position or related occupation.
  • One year of experience using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, A3 methodology, engineering change management, supply chain management, injection molding, press lamination, vacuum forming, cut and sewing, manufacturing assembly, JIST, and IATF.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with automotive components supply chain processes.
