As a Manager in Supply Chain Management at the Nevada National Security Site, you will play a pivotal role in leading an organization dedicated to enhancing relationships and adding credibility and value to both internal and external customers. Your primary responsibility will be to support the development and lead the strategic direction of compliance functions, ensuring that a robust plan is in place to achieve these objectives. This position requires a proactive approach to overseeing the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Compliance Program, which functions as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues and concerns within the SCM organization. In this role, you will be responsible for driving communication and execution of the strategic objectives of the business throughout the organization. You will ensure that management and employees adhere to the rules and regulatory requirements outlined in the Management & Operations Contract, as well as company policies and procedures. Monitoring and reporting the results of compliance efforts will be crucial, as you will provide guidance to the management team on compliance-related matters and implement necessary actions to ensure the effectiveness of the compliance program. Collaboration will be key in this position, as you will work closely with other departments, such as Internal Audit and General Counsel, to address complex legal issues. You will also be tasked with evolving and implementing the necessary operating systems across relevant areas, including strategies, value propositions, staffing, and implementation. As a liaison between SCM and functional areas, you will maintain a roadmap for SCM business integration with the Site Mission for MSTS. Your expertise in Supply Chain Management will be essential in directing and driving cross-functional teamwork to achieve key metrics. You will need to balance business needs, aggressive timelines, and functional goals while establishing team direction, schedules, and key objectives focused on driving excellence. Additionally, you will develop and execute strategies aimed at increasing customer satisfaction, safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost-effectiveness, while introducing new processes for growth. Identifying key areas for improvement will be vital to driving continuous progression in all business metrics, and you will evaluate the talent within the organization to make necessary changes. Ultimately, you will be responsible for driving culture change, accountability, and continuous improvement within the SCM organization.
