About the position

Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead an organization dedicated to enhancing relationships and adding value to both internal and external customers. The successful candidate will oversee the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Compliance Program, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies. This role involves driving communication and execution of strategic objectives across the organization, monitoring compliance efforts, and providing guidance to the management team. The Supply Chain Manager will collaborate with various departments, including Internal Audit and General Counsel, to address complex legal issues and implement necessary operating systems across relevant areas. In this position, you will be responsible for establishing team direction, schedules, and key objectives, focusing on driving excellence in customer satisfaction, safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. You will utilize your expertise in Supply Chain Management to foster cross-functional teamwork and identify areas for continuous improvement. The role requires a strategic leader who can balance business needs with aggressive timelines and functional goals, while also evaluating talent within the organization and driving culture change and accountability. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the SCM Compliance Program, ensuring compliance with rules and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive communication and execution of strategic objectives throughout the organization.
  • Monitor and report results of compliance efforts and provide guidance to management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address legal issues and concerns.
  • Implement necessary operating systems in relevant areas including strategies and staffing.
  • Liaison between SCM and functional areas, maintaining a roadmap for SCM business integration.
  • Direct and drive cross-functional teamwork to achieve key metrics.
  • Establish team direction, schedules, and key objectives with a focus on excellence.
  • Develop and execute strategies for increased customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Identify key areas for improvement to drive continuous progression in business metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience.
  • Minimum of 11 years of related and progressively responsible experience.
  • Eight years of leadership experience in a Supply Chain Management environment.
  • Extensive supply chain operations management experience.
  • Six Sigma Green-Belt Certification.
  • Previous DOE M&O compliance experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Deep understanding of Forecast and Planning processes.
  • Understanding of lean, integrated supply chain principles.
