About the position

As a Purchasing Supply Chain Manager at Uline, you will oversee an inventory team to ensure the company meets its commitment to always having products in stock. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, developing product forecasts, and maintaining strong vendor relationships, all while contributing to the success of North America's top distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a team of Demand Planners and Buyers.
  • Determine inventory levels at Uline's network of distribution centers and warehouses.
  • Monitor inventory levels, develop product forecasts and determine stocking strategies.
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with vendors.
  • Work with the Merchandising team to solve vendor issues, handle vendor changes and determine potential product additions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in Purchasing, Inventory Management or Demand Planning.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, contributing to the 'big picture.'
